i think some of you are a little too hateful towards Byul... sure, he's almost 17 but that doesn't mean that he is not a kid. I bet he doesn't know exactly what happened between Hyesung and his mom (i don't see Hyesung explaning something so difficult to him), and just wants to have a relationship with her. And that's fair in his case lol The only one that has a responsability in all this is Dojin, and i need to see Hyesung putting him in his place a little bit xd

realistically most 17 yos would know better (speaking as one) , context clues are strong in byuls situation & if he has to (intentionally) hide the fact that he’s visiting her then he obviously knows he’s in the wrong & true w dojin he weird

this is true, but given the fact he’s a 17 yr old most people not all but some are curious to know and will be rebellious to want to see. This is not justification for his actions but some people are curious and take it to the next level and want to see it for themselves… ( ̄∇ ̄")

I completely agree with you, opinions are harsh but it is common in the site.
-Byul is in a vulnerable situation where he believes his dreams have failed. Not really, but as a young person, one believes that. His parents have other obligations, and the only person who can provide support is his grandmother (unfortunately)

-Byul is a good boy who sees a lonely and abandoned elderly woman with excessive regret. It's normal and human to feel empathy and pity for the elderly, especially if they're sweet and women. Being old and dependable probably suck. I don't think she should be forgiven.

-Hyesung is now happy, supported and loved by everyone. His situation was a long time ago, so Byul doesn't realize that the mistake was serious. He was always loved, so he doesn't know how to measure.

-Byul was always loved by his mother, so he takes his love for granted. Like most of us, we put our priorities when we are young on other people, our crushes, etc instead of parents.

-In the end, Hyesung should have also informed Byul about his past and told him about the pain his mother's trauma still causes him. It's the adults' responsibility to communicate this too. They prefered to ignore the issue instead of confronting it with their son (I know it is for causing drama in the comic)

-17-year-olds, even adults don't follow their parents' advice and don't think about how bad a situation is. If that were the case, the world would be different. But I don't know any teenager, and I don't believe there are any who have followed their parents' warnings 100%. We all misbehave sometimes, and almost all of us have taken our parents' love for granted, sadly. But with time we learn.
