On other manwhas they always talk about Imperial Power and The power of the Nobles. On other manwhas specially the one where “Northern Dukes or Dukes” are the protagonist the Imperial power is usually weak and the Nobles has more power. Seeing the technicality of this manwha having a “Pope of the church” and the Nobles not being “too” scared of the emperor despite the emperor’s attitude with the way they can complain about educating the commoners.
It seems that the Imperial Power is not weak, but because wealth and power was more “evenly” distributed to the Imperial Family, Nobles, and the Church creating a somewhat balanced power system.
Im actually impressed by the thought that went into establishing the system inside the story because to be honest I don’t understand how other stories with “Ultra rich” dukes or “Super Powerful” imperial family would even be a functioning empire, that would just lead to a coup or deterioration in the endz
