It may seem that way because FL is the one doing the plotting while ML is acting on it, but it's based on trust, he inquires on her plans but doesn't question her because he knows she is hesitant to show her true reasons. He loves her and is grateful towards her and treats her equally, unlike stories we are used to where the ML is taciturn, making all the decisions and dragging the FL around.
It's not a bad story, but what I don't like is that ML's personality is very weak, FL seems like a mother trying to make him king, they don't seem like a couple, the romance is kind of weird... some parts are nice because there is more communication between them. 5/10
