Why its kind of boring... Like ik its a slowburn but, i can't feel the flame . Like aside from MC getting "jealous", there are barely happening. I can't even feel if Ml is doing something aside from being a bitch.

Like no shade but, 'Melting point' is doing exactly the same thing but kind of better; same have sports motif, office uke, retired athlete, etc.

Lowkey I feel like it might be the art style. The facial expressioms feel a bit bland here and don't have much nuance, something that they do a good job of in Melting Point

from what i remember from the novel (small SPOILERS ahead), now that Jaekyung "confessed" he will be much more direct about his feelings, so it will get less boring, but it will take some time before they get physical, and a looooooong time before it is reciprocal

It's the art style it's too stiff. The novel is so much better and they have so much chemistry. Melting point is a rip-off of Dash

I don't really care about the outcome, the one that bothers me is that the fact this is a slowburn but the process is soooo boring. They barely interact, and if that happens all they talk about is commercial work

nah you're right the beginning is rather boring, but after 1 or 2 more chapters of Jiheon avoiding Jaekyung, they will almost always be together, and Jaekyung become a lot more talkative

I like both works, but you probably like Melting Point better because it is hyper focused on the romance compared to this. This one explored Omegaverse, swimming, corporate works in greater details than Melting Points. For some, that might make this too slow and uneventful, but for others like me, I appreciate the world building outside of romance. It makes the series feel more grounded and believable. Also nice to see the author did lots of homework for the sports it focused on instead of just using it as a backdrop like Melting Point does. I would recommend Melting Point to people who just want romance, but for people who also enjoy sports manga, I would recommend this more.

How to say this, but i would actually like them talk about the swimming shenanigans, but the thing is, they always talk about office workss which is literally so boring. And everytime seme dive in the pool, it seems like he is just flexing his body, instead of like actual swim, like damn i know you're hot. And i don't want to discredit the author for doing an actual study but, the manhwa did it so dirty. I'm actually thinking that the manhwa is the problem.

Idk about you but I feel the flame, but that's exactly it, it's slowburn, which maybe fits the format of novels more cause you'd read it all but here you gotta wait for updates so it feels slow, but it's actually focusing on storytelling here and not just executing tropes and on screen porn like most manhwas

And I saw the parallel between this and melting point immediately too but they're not actually comparable, melting point is like the standard manhwa cause not even 20 chapters in they were fucking, here it's actual characterisation being unraveled and it's slow and tender and i much prefer this one, they're both level headed adults with thoughts and feelings and only very loosely fit the "younger top that's smitten and older top that ends up accepting him" trope, other than that they don't really fit stereotypes and having read the novel, the way the usual situations play out arent In a usual way either do this feels fresh to me

Exactly. I would recommend reading the novel. Ugh their dialogues are so much more matured and realistic and there's so much chemistry with between them.
