I'm saying that Aryn's no longer that all powerful sorcerer she was in the earlier chapters. 'ARYN MOVE!!" And she just stands there like she cant help herself. She's a helpless mom, clenching her son in her hands waiting to be resuced by the ML. She's more than that and I'm disappointed they didn't use her more in this last chapter.

Also, could it be that, maybe, just maybe, she couldn’t move because she was scared? You know, the last time she did that silly move she literally died. This time she had another human being in her arms, her kid nevertheless.

I get exactly what you mean. It was so frustrating to see her frozen in place during the attack, her child in her arms and completely at risk! She didn’t act to protect either of them, relying entirely on the ML. Seeing her reduced to this in the final chapter was really disappointing ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

She didn't do nothing. They were able to track the child because she left her mark on that shadow demon that's good at locating people. And you already said that she's caring for the child. Is that nothing? So what if she used to be a powerful sorcerer? Is she not allowed to have trauma? Is freezing not an apt trauma response? She died in her first life after being hit with that dragon breath ┗( T﹏T )┛

Why is it such a crime for Aryn to depend on others after being strong for too long, anyway? She didn't even plan on being a mom after being resurrected. Like, can't a girl just be overwhelmed?
