I definitely get what you're saying, but the formality kinda gives the impression of respect and what their connection to the person is. Personally I see it as how the characters express their views of the other characters. Similar to how it means so much to some characters to be called Noona, titles for all kinds of people are very important to them sometimes. Especially when people are raised being told it is not ok due to it being seen as disrespect. While I won't get upset if you disagree, just wanted to give an alternate perspective! The official translation is worse than the original unofficial translation. Everything feels so formal and bland like it is translated to the exact word, but the reason that is bad is that tone gets lost. Translation is more than just translating the exact words and somehow the fan interpretation understands that better than the official translation which is wild
