Both the premise and the execution here are a breath of fresh air, so I think it's a worth it read for any BL fans that stumble upon this... but personally, I wasn't vibing with Yanagawa all that much. Not because he's a red flag or anything like that, but I felt like he kept his feelings hidden/in check way too well, if you feel me...? Like, realistically it's what's to be expected, but as readers we should've been given *something* to work with in order to build the yearning from both sides... as things are, it ended up making the confession feel super sudden and kind of underwhelming.
Other than that, I really enjoyed this I think. They expand on Senoue's reaction and rationalization of this "other world" in a super interesting way, so the first chapters for me were the best.
