Well, his mom is a mistress and his mother is the official wife. Plus, he's a boy and on the official family registry so they have to keep him in check since,by right, he will inherit shares of the company and can be a potential problem if others try to use him to provoke the legitimate heirs.
So those people dont really owe him kindness and there was never going to be any to give. His real mom and cheater father are the real pieces of trash for bringing him into such a life just because of of money and lust.
Anyway, it really is sad being the "other woman" is all he thinks he deserves. His insecurities are indeed deep-seated.He's walking in his mother's footsteps, and worse, he's doing it for love not money.

I feel so bad for Sihyun, it seems like his "family" is :/ and he is being used and ig he doesn't even know or RECEIVED what actual care/love(be platonic, romantic) is like, his whole pov felt so bitter sweet. Ah I rlly just wish Joohwan would get the better of his insecurities, accpet things and would see Sihyun ACTUALLY because he's such an obvious guy but Joohwan has lot of fear, insecurities and he doesn't see Sihyun that well with all that. I mean rlly!! U have a guy coming after u and even ready to do anything with u even while knowing u have a partner?! .
