A man being man most them will always blame a child or woman whether it’s their wife or child or not. Good on the author for being authentic when it comes to why the father does what he does. My father doesn’t like none of his children except for one. Why because we were all born out of flings he had while he was with someone else. He went to jail when I was 2 I only ever received one letter and card from him. And when he got out when I was 16 wasn’t even there for me in the least bit. At one of my weakest moments waiting for my brother to eventually pass away in the hospital he asked me to babysit his girlfriend’s kids I was still in my early to mid 20’s. Yall he hadn’t seen me in like 3 years at that point we just happened to run into each in a Wawa parking lot because my friends drug me out of the hospital for a bit. But when his son my brother was in the hospital because he was jumped really bad who was there ME and after that I realized I would never truly mean anything to my dad because again he acted like I didn’t exist after that. It’s crazy and yall might think the storyline is stupid but weird shit like that really does happen to innocent children no matter how old they are.
