Found the raws for up to vol3 and, mystery solved. He quite literally says "darling" ("daarin" in katakana, ダーリン) lmao but I think I understand the change to "lover boy" because, since it's a loan word, it sounds much more playful in japanese
The original fan TL made Tamba's pet name for Utagawa "darling" while the official went with "lover boy." I'm kinda curious now as to what the og was, so, does anyone know where I can check the raws? Thx!
