Or the actor that is in love with MC or even can be Seo-in's "mom"/family... Or something related to a even bigger scandal involving Seoin and MC feels guilty for it or something.
let’s be real here, in the beginning he says he had too much trust in hope and that he was greedy for having any sort of expectations. his clothes are basically teared off, he’s bruised, he doesn’t have any shoes and he’s looking up at a poster of seo in. it’s not out of character for yeongwoo to suffer at the hands of seo in.
