exactly, mc is going to be looked down on regardless of who he has a kid with, but especially so if he has a kid with someone the board already want to replace him with. and I don't believe ml doesn't know that either
Hmmm, I don’t think it’s a misunderstanding regarding the succession but more a reflection of society’s prejudices against omegas. MC has to consider how people would treat him after he settles down and when he has a child. Omegas are treated like they can’t lead or hold positions of power and him choosing ML would cement the perception of him as second to his alpha. It’s a really understandable motivation.
