i agree. a lot of parts felt very convenient, like how monde died and the viscount and his daughter removed in one panel. and then there's the fl defeating enemies even with not training for years (tho it was mentioned in last chapter but ehhh how about before that). i mean it's still a good read but it's somewhat bland.

There is never any part of this story where you are scared for the main characters because the author does a poor job at introducing and resolving conflicts. Count hipolit could have been so much more. The relationship between Edna and Hayden is wholesome but lacks something. His reaction when she told him the truth was lowkey boring asf. Idk, this is a good read if you want a sweet love story with a bit of action. If you're looking for more intrigue, this might not be your cup of tea
