The world is ending, literally in the next few days, the death devil is gonna arrive and end humanity, taking it over for demons to reign. Asa has now been completely taken over by the war devil, who is now super powered because America reinvented the nuke, thus igniting moe fears of war, plus add that to all of humanity thinking a holy war against demons is going to start that week, so she's super strong now.
Nayuta is dead, a bunch of denjii's friends are dead, even the government agent dude is dead after the government ordered him to blow up Denji. But now Asa has told him to take her out in order to stop the war devil, cause if she lives, they will have more than just the death devil to deal with.
The death devil has revealed herself, and so has famine, and both are fighting against war devil. The death devil despite her name, doesn't want to end the world, but she has no choice. Once the prophicised time arrives, she will fully awaken to her powers and lose her current sense of self, she will have no control over herself. Both her, and every other girl this far, is is bribing denji to join their side, to which he knows he's being used, both demons and the government.
So in short, both sides are gonna be seemingly unbeatable, and both sides need to be defeated for humanity to live, but denji is conflicted.
War devil is bad, death devil and famin devil are definitely bad, and humans are bad. They are hunting him down and even killed Nayuta, but both sides want to use him to save their own side and fulfill their agenda.
