In this story, (is this considered spoiler?) same-sex marriage is not legal in SoKor, so the next big thing is being like emergency contacts for each other, and being the person to make decisions for your health, etc., basically like a next-of-kin. You have to apply for it, there are documentations for it in the story. Idk if they're going to follow it in the manhwa.
