Came back to finish this absolutely wonderful story, but I'm on the section where MC is reuniting with his mum and it's all "heartwarming" and stuff, and I can't. This woman left her 10 year old son in the hands of a physcially and emotionally abusive father. It was her responsibility to get her AND her child out of that situation, and she only saved herself. It's incredibly selfish and makes her entirely complicit in the abuse he suffered. Heartwarming reunion MY A$$!!! (╬￣皿￣)凸
