as upsetting as it is, i can totally understand kurebayashi’s motive. it’s confirmed from the anime that the person who visited kurebayashi was satou or some person from the company and i think kurebayashi probably refused their offer at first seeing as she really cared for the boys during that time. in the end however, after the incident with the little girl she called them up and said she’ll turn hikaru in. kurebayashi probably saw herself in the little girl’s mother since her son was harmed by impurities as well, and truly realized how dangerous it is to keep “hikaru” around. kurebayashi doesn’t want more people to experience the hurt she had, so she made the best move to call up the company to lock up hikaru :’). judging from her expression though, she probably didn’t know they were going to take hikaru out like that and feels a bit guilty, but she just wants the safety of everyone.
