Hot take- I am kinda disappointed that the author did a cop out and made Hyunwoo his brother instead of his son. In stories like this where the popular, cocky male lead toys around with the quieter, no emotions male lead, i feel like the cocky one gets the better end of the stick. While Seoyoon gets to decide whether or not he likes Kang Hyun and mess around with his emotions , Kang hyun is kinda stuck loving Seoyoon for yearssss with no one else in his life.
Like i would have loved to see him try to move on in bis life and not stuck on some highschool crush. Like it could have been a one night stand, a lavender marriage , someone dropping hyunwoo in front his door, or like an actual relationship that parted amicably. I just want him to have moved on at least for that time apart. I just kinda want go see Seoyoon panic and suffer more over the fact that he isn’t the same person you were trying to fake daye at first and reject them. But noooo it just feels like seoyoon is just going to be rewarded for his behavior when he finds out that Hyunwoo is Kanghyun’s brother.
Since its unfortunately going to be the whole brother excuse I can’t wait to see how embarrassed Seowoon feels. That redemption and groveling arc better be good and I want to see Kang hyun genuinely get upset at him . Like he needs to stop letting that man do as he pleases or me and hyunwoo are going to team up and beat up blondie here
