it was probably self-inflicted, like that classmate who knew him from elementary school mentioned. jimmy definitely wanted attention from his mom, hence mentioning to her that he was bleeding when she was resting in bed, or just trying to hurt himself in general. poor jimmy (and jimmy's mom/jimmy's family).
Maybe my mind is just way toooooo dirty but...... That child has so many bruise and he had no pants while he was looking from balcony... Please dont be what I'm thinking (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
