well I'm still confused on why Garp is still on the government lmao it's a surprise that he didn't got eliminated or imprisoned bcs he strike down a gorosei (actually Imu who use Saturn body)

Here me out.. seeing Roger is a loose canon who does whatever he want to get involved in such matters. What if because of this island, he seeks the truth of the world and start looking for the poneglyps, not just for pirates, but for the whole world to carry out awareness that people like 'Imu' existed. Humans or not are not safe because Imu look down on them and want themselves to stay high above only from the rest of the world. This is why 'Imu' feared the worst outcome for people to learn something even a little thing that Roger did. Remember the Ohara? They're only wanting to uncover the truth from past and yet all pf them was eliminated, except Robin who escaped. If you match the Timeline.. Ohara was destroyed 22 years ago and Roger who was executed was around 24 years ago, so it's like 2 years apart. The pattern was clear that both parties want to unravel the truth but it'll become a threat, thus why they need to get eliminated
Now it's Vegapunk, He gave so much information about possibility in the future and that was a threat to 'Imu' too.
i won't be surprised if God Valley incident was the reason why Roger travelled all grand line and new world to learn the truth/everything since that incident will left them questioning.
