Omg you're so right!! I believe if Etienne wasn't in a relationship with Rishar his plans would come to life much more quicker. I guess it's because emperor kinda raised Rishar in a protective environment that he turned out to be this dumb. Like how come you don't think about your actions' results and always make Etienne experience the worst outcome. And he's not even respecting Etienne's decisions and do whatever he finds suitable to himself.
