Exactly!!! I don't think Jian even has the heart to leave Hwan like for a second especially after the incident. When Hwan asked for breakup, Jian didn't drag it and instead was like "yeah okay, but find me once you regained your memories back" he didn't want to be someone that gonna hold back Hwan's progress but he still WANTED TO BE THERE FOR HIM no matter what's the methods are
He knew there's a clear power imbalance between him and Hwan's family and broke up with Hwan make him practically a VERY EASY TARGET to some dirty works Hwan's father will do in the future yet he doesn't want to leave Hwan...
I mean if it's another omegaverse i bet some MC would immediately leave the other party by saying that they're not the lover just to put some distance, not because they don't wanna take care of their partners but because they'll saw this amnesia as a "gateway" from them and see this as an "opportunity" for their partners to get a new life and think they would be better and happy without them. But it's not the case for Jian, he wants HIM to be the one that gave Hwan's the happiness and vice versa. Just as he said to Yoon Kyung (the brother), it HAS to be Hwan
I’m conflicted cause I’m the type to not want the mc to put up with his behavior now. But at the same time, mc experienced how loving he can be, and ML did literally sacrifice himself in order to save MC. So MC is partially part of the reason he has memory loss (I’m not actually blaming mc btw). So I feel for MC not wanting to just run away. It’d be like throwing away ML’s love and sacrifice. I mean like, how often do you find someone that loves you so much their own instincts save you and shield you from safety before their own well-being? Most humans can’t help but fear and instinctively avoid danger, saving themselves first before they can even think.

So I can think of this memory loss as a condition ML couldn’t help. Although I do think it’s funny how quickly ML caught onto MC being the omega he imprinted on before, but is slow to realize now lol.
