Like, hello? What’s the logic in showing a detailed scene with the former partner?
Do you really expect me to be happy when you present a scene like that — one that exists only because the author wanted to draw the MC with someone else, instead of seeing him do it in the present timeline..
He’s ex-partner, and we already know he’s receiving guiding — what’s the point of adding such details?
And then you even say that the former partner is still alive, but he’s not a love interest or a 2ML in a love triangle so why add such a scene at all? What’s the point?
It reminded me of Liveta, where they also showed the past and detailed the intimate moments — and You only end up feeling weird...
After all the relationship-building between the ML and MC, and seeing them together, then you pull something like this… it’s really not good or pleasant, in my opinion...
There are many stories that mention the past without diving into intimate details between the characters...

I just lost interest in the story....
