Good move, last thing I read I didn't let it infect me with the ooh sad psycho ML backstory virus, but I was going a bit meh on this one
Exactly. I still feel sad for our ML because he was an abused child he didn’t deserve that, but at the same time he is so cruel toward his own people and the only man that really cares for him so idk..
So I reread the chapters where MC was found in a hole and was saved by a young guard and I reread how this poor young guard was treated as dhit by the emperor and killed so mercilessly even tho he saved the MC. Je had a lil brother… it’s hard to relate to ML even tho I know it was only an abusive child
