I feel like a lot of readers are negating the emotional turmoil the MC is dealing with currently. -He's in debt -about to get kicked out of school because he can't afford it -just became an omega after spending most his life as an alpha (omegas are also treated as 2nd class citizens) -told he has a fated mate with someone he doesn't want -ran into the family that destroyed his family -ran into his first love -found out his first love liked him in the past -said first love THEN called him a wh*re -and was almost r*ped.
All in the span of less than 2 weeks. Y'all worried about him returning white hair's feelings and he's probably worried about rent. Let the man settle in dude.
Also this is a reminder, they are all adults, no one is in a relationship and no one has even invited the MC on a first date yet -.- How are you guys going to hate on the MC when these 2 haven't even done the bare minimum in courtship? White hair is so busy projecting the IDEA of a relationship with the MC, that he isn't even trying to establish a relationship with the MC (you can't speed run a relationship and jump to forever partners without even establishing an emotional connection yet dude, childhood friends isn't enough, y'all strangers now). The MC also did the mature thing and recognized that his feelings for white hair weren't real and only due to them being fated mates.
