I had never read this type of monstrous piece of literature until the end before… maybe I was putting it on hold as a sign that this stuff was up to no good because I was so genuine about why this had such a low rating by the looks of the tags. I was fooled by the “childhood friends” and “encounter” tags, how silly of me for believing it would be wholesome and cute. If this book were a drink, it would be a dark, bitter black coffee. Why did you ask? It was so horribly taste and made it hard to swallow the storyline. The phase was so fast that you will not have time to think about what these people are trying to do. What are they talking about? What are you trying to tell us, dear author? I have never felt like this before reading this type of genre, but this author… they're good at making people despise the childhood friends trope. I'm trying to like this piece of literature… I swear I do. This author is trying to give us a hint that the storyline is just as bad as the art. Please don't let me start with the body proportion. It was horrible, I don't care if the mc builds like a twink instead of a premature teen who hasn't been given any meals. The ml? I swear his build is literally like he just swallowed the whole cupboard. I'm sorry for not liking this piece of horrid literature, maybe this is my worst read in 2025, never touching a low rating read again. i never feel so kind to give this book a one star, this book did not deserve any stars at all. That's all from me, thank you.
