Horror stories are usually confusing and open ended because uncertainty creates paranoia and adds to the horror experience
Imo the girl did exist is just that it was a host for the parasite monster(?) is just what happened with the boy and the detective man. I feel like the parasite thing just goes from host to host, and also I do think that they might be dead? But the dead occurs when they go to another host
Does that mean hes dead fr and does that mean the girl who didnt exist died too
and who had the parasite demon bug whatever first the cat or the girl am i too dumb for this or does this feel half baked
