From an outsider's POV, I'd definitely feel bad for Seoyoon since Hyun did confess first and then ghosted him. However, as a reader, we see Seoyoon's motives and his thoughts during all of the events. He never felt anything genuine for Hyun and always wanted to one-up him in everything for some reason. It's all about "winning" for him.
Seoyoon has always been full of himself since highschool and was envious that Hyun was getting attention, so it felt like a victory that Hyun liked him and he wanted to take advantage of that.
So why should I feel bad that Hyun is dumping Seoyoon's ass again when he already had bad motives for getting together with him for the 2nd time? What I want is for him to get humbled and accept that he's developing feelings for Hyun, that's it
