Tbf, appearances can change a lot throughout the years. For example, i used to look so much different in my childhood, so it's also very possible that she just doesn't recognize him.
Then there is also the possibility that she simply didn't really care about remembering other people's faces, and thus simply doesn't recognize him/it is possible that her brain does subconsciously does remember tho. It's the reason people sometimes dream of ppl they don't know, it's because our brain does remember things we've seen, but subconciously. Age doesn't really matter in that aspect of remembering things. I can't even remember the stuff i had for breakfast/lunch/dinner from the last passing days ever since my teens.
But i do like the theory that her accident caused her to forget about some things in her past, it does make sense. Either from some sort of brain damage, or simply put as you said, trauma response.
As for the mom; hoh boi, she giving me red flags. Idky exactly, because there really hasn't been much shown which would cause me to view her as such. It's just more of a gut feeling. Maybe it's how she so easily disregards her daughter's feelings regarding her boytoy. Especially with how she just forced her daughter to spend the shopping spree with said boytoy. That, and prolly also that her taste are the same as our MC. Which going into that aspect can open a completely whole other can of a wormhole;;;;; ayeyayae....
See from my understanding. I think that Rosa and the 2nd Male lead are not compatible. Think about it. She slapped him because she thought about Yeonwu while doing it. She keeps thinking about him throughout the chapters everytime she is with the 2nd Male lead. The 2nd Male Lead is too clingy for a second Male Lead usually it’s associated with them like for example we have Dohwa from Operation true love and many other but they aren’t truly like this guy now I don’t think he is perfect for a nonchalant person like Rosa (he is perfect for me!) Because Rosa is dominant or at least she is about to turn too dominant.
I did want to speak about people who dislike the Male lead. The main reason is that he is fucking the mom.
BUT! Here is my theory. Since we know that Rosa probably met him at the orphanage that the mother was assumingly running a donation/ doing business with the orphanage cuz rich people love to do that. Now he seems to be broke as shit like he probably couldn’t take it anymore and started to work at the club and that’s where he met the Mom. He probably recognised her as Rosa‘s mom and with his broke boy situation he approached her and possibly she could have already noticed him as well and that’s when the relationship started. With the Male lead wanting to escape his financial situation and also his plan to approach Rosa and the Mom was able to find something fun to do. I do however think that the Mom is not too much of a dumbass unless I’m proven otherwise because no dumbass would put her daughter and a guy 2 years older than her aka HAVING MORE IN COMMON THAN SHE‘LL EVER HAVE WITH YEONWU in the same house in the same room till late at night. They will absolutely be attracted to each other. Having Rosa dress Yeonwu „the way she likes it“ knowing damnnnnn well her tastes are the same as Rosa‘s. Now onto Rosa. I think she sorta lost her memory since she was in that accident in high school. Maybe it didn’t affect it too much but possibly the most parts of the Orphanage stuff because she doesn’t seem to remember Yeonwu. At the age that she met Yeonwu it doesn’t fucking matter how old you are and Rosa is just 22 years old she should be able to remember. ( I’m 19 and I’m able to remember so many people that I met throughout my life even friends that I had at the beach) she probably suffered some sort of trauma during that accident and removed some parts of her memory. Next I would say that she is definitely going to sever ties with the mom. Like I don’t see the Mom being a „oh you started to fuck the guy I’m dating? It’s cool boo I’ll just find another one“ I don’t think so. I think she will turn into a villain of this story and possibly make both of their lives a living hell. I’ll just count how many chapters it will take her to finally realize they are having an affair. Because from my understanding with the recent chapter and her casually grabbing his hand she doesn’t seem to give a flying shit about the fact that he is her mom’s boyfriend and much more less that she will ruin her own relationship with her mom. Um also another good point is that the mom could possibly die during this story or leave the country or something like that. I don’t see their sexual activities starting while the mom is around. I AM HOPING FOR A SCENE UNDER THE TABLE WHILE TOUCHING HANDS OR TOUCHING EACH OTHERS FOOT WHILE THEY ARE EATING AT THE TABLE WITH THE MOM. OMGG I WISHHHH. Usually in Smut taboo manhwa the sexual activities start in chapter 13 or 15. But who knows how this Author will proceed with Fl And ML sex. I do kinda feel bad for the Second Male Lead he seems like a really nice guy but maybe he also has his own weirdo syndrome who knows. I do however hope people cut the Male Lead some slack we don’t know much about him we don’t know much about any of the characters.. The Author probably has some good ideas surrounding this manhwa unless she leaves us blue balled or suffers a severe head injury and removes her creativity from her brain. Yeah. Crossing my fingers for this Manhwa cuz it’s the only thing I am excited about in Tuesday. And I don’t like Tuesdays usually
