That god I just can't understand it. Is it just me or is the god the really foolish one for wanting mc to die to keep his rival at bay. His enemy is trying to make other vessels that rival mc so even if he dies it doesn't really matter in the end? And he could make like a semi or temporary pact with mc making him mc's deity to prevent his enemy thus teaming up with mc with of course many restrictions because I don't trust that stupid god will not force mc to suicide.
