Nah, don't let her fool you, she's all bark and no bite, pure theatrics: she just has a foul mouth and is always trying to protect herself by pretending to be overly mean in the way she talks and with how she does a lot of theatrics, but it's all just to hide how much of a huge softie she is deep down, because she was betrayed and almost destroyed by a human she helped in the past.

She just learned to act "rough" after a huge betrayal by humans: in the past, she even helped to seal her demon father in order to protect humans, out of love for some human friends she had, but she was just deeply betrayed by the one human guy that she had been in love with, who killed her other human friends and stabbed her to make her lose a big chunk of her power, just so he could become king, after which she had had to spend centuries powerless and suffering... That's why she tries to act tough and mean but it's alljust to hiude how she's still a huge softie at heart.
Nah... I get all that... but to be real honest? That makes it even more irritating and annoying to me? Not to mention she needing to hide her identity and power makes her seem even weaker... and personally I'm not fond of weak mc's... even worse when they are like this... goody goody acting all mean and tough... it irks me that she's a demon... but weak and soft... I would appreciate it if she was scheming and acted weak on purpose to use people or something... but even if she does that... with her personality it just becomes annoying...
I don’t think i can get into this. Like i’ve read a shit load of these stories, and i totally get that she was a demon or whatever, but her personality is actually so irritating
