.... I couldn't have said this better myself! Thank God there are other people out there that can speak up like this for the real women whose real lives are proof that this storyline isn't just made up or fiction. Sadly, so many of us women can speak to Heasoo's truth. Unfortunately, it's more common that people realize.
and what ppl dont understand is that she is strong in her own way. Strength doesn't have to be explosive. EVen tho she was in that relationship with minshit for so long she was able to move on to taeha almost immediately! Once my girl realizes the effect she has one men she's gonna rule the world lol
Ur also right about the body thing! I liked seeing this body shape represented in this webtoon cause i used to be so ashamed of it but then seeing the comments saying horrible things about her shape as if it doesn't actually exist irl made me feel terrible. There's alot of internalized misogony against Haeso and I will defend her through it all!
So true. It's also so valid that she can't help but be traumatized by the kid. It's not her fault, it's something she can't control and when a woman who has so little control over anything else in her life can't even count on her body, it's awful. Rock bottom. Tae-ha may be irritated or upset, but he's also too native and too young and too not a woman to understand. So whatever to his feelings here. Sucks for both of them. He should be more understanding in my opinion. It's not about her ex at all, is about bodily autonomy and about life paths bound by trauma. I'm sure he'll stick it out but I hate that he blames her for having these ptsd moments. So selfish.

Everyone wants her to be a strong FL when in reality, Haesoo’s reactions and feelings are totally valid and understandable. There are so many women like Haesoo irl. As someone who’s close to Haesoo’s age in this story and has gone through many similar hardships (childhood trauma, poverty, cheating spouse, and her current fear of never finding happiness if she can’t bear a child for example), I can completely empathize with her. Sometimes real life looks like this. There’s nothing wrong with “wanting to be saved”. She’s a victim of trauma and abuse and everyone handles those feelings differently. In all honesty I actually like that she’s not the typical “strong FL who seeks revenge”, because it makes the story feel a little more realistic, and perhaps more people can empathize. Haesoo needs to be shown love, REAL love, and I’m enjoying the process of her finding that confidence in herself to accept that love in her own way and in her own time. Is the story moving a bit slow? Sure. But I’m still enjoying the ride. This is actually a very good story. Also everyone wants to make comments about her big boobs, as if women with big boobs and a slim waist don’t exist irl. Idk just my thoughts. I love Haesoo so I will defend her lol
