Well in the novel it's clear mc and raon are not together romantically. Raon wants to be but doesn't want to die so they dont do anything and im pretty sure they don't even kiss. I dunno, reading it I never got the feeling that mc likes Raon in that way. It's more like he knows he should like him more but doesn't feel good enough for him and doesn't want him to die from their having sex. I dunno, seems a cop out to say the novel didn't better but it did!
From the latest chapters, it truly makes no sense that he would want to save the emperor. It all feels rushed. Also in the novel you think the emperor is dead at this point and it goes on for chapters that way. Or maybe I'm just dumb ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Wtf is wrong with the mc he was desperate to kill the king or whatever he is this whole 59chs but when he finally get the chance he actually saved him its just so stupid and not logical why would he go through all that shit just to end up saving him like a stupid when he supposed to be in love with the brother of the king that he even kissed him in the previous chapter idk fr what’s going on anymore. It was a great story so far but this stupid turn of events made the worst
