Being masculine and bottoming have nothing to do with each other. Many men who present in very typically masculine ways do bottom. Bottoming is also not exclusive, switches exist. Though I don’t think Encrid is gonna care about romance either way. Sincerely, a gay man.

I must be one of the few people where I totes don't see the gayness in the story, and would even love to see it develop into shoujo a bit? Don't get me wrong, I love bl but for me Encrid is pretty masculine and good at leading his team. I wouldn't even consider him the bottom at all. Anyway, really do hope he gets with the elf in the future as I find their banter and understanding of each other endearing. Also if let's say Encrid gets even stronger and saves the elf in some storyline scenario, he would get even hotter and like a shoujo manga dream come true romance hahaa
