me too. i read the novel and even gad to drop that one because man it was sooooo boring. nothing was happening, just gossip talk and never ending monologs explaining same damn story from different characters thoughts. such a shame, the art is gorgeous

I finished the main story and the drama is indeed annoying and even melodramatic.
Even the side stories continue to be dramatic. The story of Mr. Dalton's nephew was kind of unnecessary in my opinion. Just scanned it at the end and deleted the whole novel from my files.

I've been reading the novel and I was really shocked when I found out Mr. Farfaix marry Miss Lance damn it was really frustrating reading the novel because Miss Pendleton is really stubborn. Good things they ended up together AFTER 150 CHAPTERS AND 2 MAJOR DRAMA (Miss Lance drama and Miss Pendleton previous lover drama)
