So, for starters, what I am trying to find is not a manga nor a manhwa of some sort. What I am looking for is a light novel, if I am not mistaken. I wanted to ask for help in Novel Updates, but, for the love of God, I can't figure out how to post one, so... here I am.
All I could remember is that it initially follows the story of a writer (MC1) that is infamous for writing dog-blood novels, the ones that intentionally tortures their characters, specifically the villain, for no apparent reason. He (seme) tortures them (MC's villains) so bad, to the point that the readers, themselves, felt so bad for them. As a result, they would often curse him for it, saying that he is so evil for doing that yada-yada. So, one day, if my memory serves me right, after talking to his fellow writer (MC2), a writer with a completely different writing style as he did, he died in his sleep and bounded with a system. Now, this system gave him a task: to change his villain's ending by lowering their darkening percentage into 0%. Out of many of the stories he wrote he got transmigrated to this one novel he wrote where the villain (uke) is in love with the ML of his novel. I forgot how it goes from here, but I specifically remembered that originally, the villain ended up in the asylum for harming the MC of the novel, and he died there alone, begging someone to be there with him. Fast forward, he succeeded, and if I remember it correctly, he got automatically sent back to his original world while sleeping with the villain. And, I believed he got really frustrated waking up, because he wanted to be with the villain. He is afraid he'll get lonely and all. So, he demanded to be sent back, but first he requested to be given some time to get things settled before "dying". He proofread his friend's (MC2, the fellow writer mentioned earlier) novel. He added some flare to spice things up since he thinks that it is very boring (MC2 is very careful for writing this novel unlike MC1). And, I remembered that he initially wanted to rewrite his novel (MC1's uke's ending), but he didn't want to be gone for that long so he didn't. Before "dying", actually this time, he left a post, promising his readers that he'll change the ending of the villain, which everyone was really happy about. He passed and got back together with the villain. Now, since he never really "rewrote" the novel, his readers were really mad at him for that, saying that he is a liar and all, not knowing that he died. He was just remembered as that one liar writer that loves to write dog-blood stories.
The system, then, unbounded with him and bounded with the next one, the fellow writer (MC2) he last interacted with after "dying". From there, the same thing happened: died, got transmigrated, must save the villain, or at the very least, lower the darkening percentage rate into 0%, falling in love in the process, to stay or not to stay, stayed, onto the next one, and repeat.
Also, I specifically remembered this one writer (from another arc) where his one and only story is based on his real experience. His story follows him, a former investigator, if I'm correct, uncovering the deaths inside this entire building where he resided at. His villain (he didn't really think he is the villain, but the readers inferred that he is considering that they were no other characters that could have possibly be one) is this disabled child, the main suspect, who later committed suicide in the end (in both the novel and real life). He (MC) specifically wrote this, in hopes to uncover the dead case, 'cuz he strongly believes that the child has nothing to do with all the deaths of those people. In this specific arc, I remembered the ouroboros symbol kept reappearing, like, a sign of the serial killer of some sort. After all what happened, he stopped being a writer after writing this, and started his career as an editor. He got killed by the two actual serial killers after he visited the abandoned apartment building to pay respect to that child he failed to save. From there, he corrected all his mistakes, helped the child escaped from his abusive family (aunt, uncle, and cousin) and all.
I forgot the rest, so far, this is all the events from the novel all I could remember.
Also, a crucial detail I remember that might help with the search is that, each arc starts with the lines from the written novel where the villain took their last breath. Then, it transitions to the writer's last moments before they bounded with the system, proceeding to their journey being there. The writer is always the seme, the villain is always the uke. So, yeah, I hope that helps.
I've read this in a reading site, but I can't traced it back, so, I figured that they either deleted it or something. I am sure that it is not a story original from that site, so, there is hope in finding it in Novel Updates. I remember it being uploaded there for offline purposes.
