This man doesn't need a costume for Halloween because he's a REAL monster. Most disturbing, not crazy or severely traumatized, ML ever. He has a problem and it's himself. I do like that this is very dark and, I haven't read the novel so I don't know if this has a 'happy ending', but kinda hope it doesn't. ML is just so not redeemable so it really wouldn't make sense if he changed his ways and then MC falls in love. Not every story needs a happy ending, looking at you 'Geolson's Past', just one that actually fits. This one is one of them.
