Danmei are novels...? And there are no novels and it's impossible to filter manhwa out of all mangas and manhua sorry babe.

I don't know how the word danmei is used in English spaces but Danmei is not necessarily novels, its almost interchangeable with BL, it's a genre
Danmei may sometimes focus a bit more on plot but idk if that's really a part of the definition

Anyways Danmei like BL is a big genre lol
If you want specifically Chinese stuff you can look for manhuas

danmei is basically just chinese bl so it can be anything, but i understand why you think it focuses more on plot.

omd I completely forgot that I dropped this question but yes I mean wuxia manhua but completed. It doesn’t have to be cultivation stuff though. I’ve read political isekai stuff like to be or not to be and I was absolutely in love. As long as it’s a non toxic love story in this kind of genres I don’t mind.

I’m not really familiar with all the lingo so I get it wrong from time to time but basically I trying to find historical manhuas that are completed. I tend to get bored with the novels and I think the manhuas would grab my attention more

The manhua for erha was dropped I think? And I couldn’t finish the novel (stopped in volume 6) because I saw in Reddit that it red flags were going to get worse. Also I dropped svsss too because the didn’t release a new season for the donghua, and the manhua was dropped as well. I couldn’t get into the other mxtx novels.

book 6? thats a really long time reading it before dropping it, i feel like mo ran was an obvious red flag from the start.
