I'm also confused how the story is going to continue though. Because setting Byul's relationship with his parents aside, Siwoo is also no contact with his parents. Siwoo's situation mirrors Hyesung's. So is Byul going to show empathy towards Siwoo and be hypocritical or is he going to copy his father and force Siwoo to reconnect with his parents like Dojin is doing with Hyesung? I was hoping Byul would learn from Hyesung's situation and apply it to Siwoo's going forward but now I don't know what to expect.

Ok, but what's really sad is Hyesung finally moved on and was at peace and now he's going to have to relive his trauma and share some of his most horrible and vulnerable moments of his life with his son (which would completely shake the family dynamic because Dojin is not a good guy in those moments). Or choose to suffer in silence and begrudgingly forgive his mom. Either way, he won't truely be at peace again. Going forward, Byul's view of Dojin or Hyesung is going to change and it's either Dojin's or Hyesung's character and pride that's going to be sacrificed.
