Cringe how they used hyesungs past and trauma as a stepping stone for byuls romance. Its making me angry that Kiss happened at all. Hyesungs life was never easy. Byul had dojin and his whole family but hyesung had no one, he was left to fend for himself so how can he know how to suddenly care for another. Im dropping this if author had Hyesung forgive mom without mom doing shit. Hope dojin becomes useful and tell Byul the severity of the abandonment hyesung experienced.
if the author does take this stupid route to use hyesung's trauma yet again as another plot device i'm out and will pretend this sequel never happened and dojin.... yeah idk i gave this character too many chances and if he doesnt act right this time istg
Yea, dojin can eat sh*t. I remember how he said he will respect hyesungs wishes and even comforted him(my most fave scene in the story)when hyesung saw his mom in the original story. THEN HE GOES AND DO THIS SHIT. Hyesung has already decided to mute out his mom, its a given that Dojin should respect hyesungs wishes! But he was providing for the mom! If my parter did that i would feel so betrayed that the person who should support me in fact didnt! I can imagine hyesungs relief when he had at least 1 person on his side at the time he confronted mom.....
exactly! like i remember how it was refreshing to see in the og story that having blood ties didnt mean you had to forgive family. istg its such a big disrespect to still be in contact with someone's family member whom they cut off for valid reasons. i'd be the same as you if my partner was dojin, it'd lead a vv big fight or even divorce because this betrayal would be so uncalled for
jeez even in the sequel hyesung cant catch a break? literally started getting teary eyed because though he isnt my favorite character, he didnt deserve what happened to him with his parents, misdiagnosing as an alpha, meeting dojin the way he did and literally getting baby trapped, but STILL he chose to grow from them, owned up to his mistakes and loved byul wholeheartedly.
now, this fuckass dojin who should've been the very person to understand WHY exactly hyesung is in no contact with his parents. he's SEEN how hyesung reacted when his parents came back for him only when they find out he found himself a rich alpha, dojin knew that his parents never looked and cared for him even once when hyesung was struggling from abuse and poverty. how out of touch could he fucking be to go behind his beloved's back to contact the very people who abandoned him?
hyesung was struggling financially when they met, he was working when they met, the reason hyesung asked for compensation money for his pregnancy was bc he grew up broke and sought the comfort of the rich life. im not making excuses for hyesung's past decisions but these decisions were ultimately the result of the abandonment his parents had done to him.
hyesung's trauma was relevant to the original story and now the author's using it to make byul and his romantic interest progress ??? ik we havnt seen how byul would react yet but i hope the author doesnt mess this up for hyesung again and byul shouldnt be happy about that unconsented kiss too. and fuck dojin honestly.
