I was honestly enjoying this until the last 5 chapsters.
At first the art was that typical webtoon style that looks slightly awkward but is fine once you get used to it. Then it turned into a dumpster fire. I don't know what happened with the artist but I swear it just got worse the more I read those last chapters. There were facial expressions that didn't suit what I'd read so far (last image of ch47 was the worst- and did you see his hideous ripped body wtf?), MC was drawn like an uncle with a beer belly a couple of times, and I hated the sudden artsyle change for their hair. If you've read The Duke’s Redemption, it looked like that.
I'm thinking the creators must have been in a rush to get this webtoon done because the last 5 chapters is also when the plot started going downhill. From the start, I could tell that there were some things they glossed over or skipped, but man did the inconsistencies pile up at the end there. Everything seemed to speed up, and they briefly introduced 2 new characters who honestly seemed like plot devices to push the plot along even faster. No real romance. Clichés. Abrupt resolution. A boring ending. It almost ruined the whole thing for me. I've been waiting for the novel to finish being TLed and I really hope it's nothing like this. Or at least nothing like the latter half.
