Normally, if you think you have a chance, being able to have an accidental touch moment with your crush would get you excited and happy enough for the whole day. But if you know you can't be with that person, it hurts even more cause even such moments where normally would bring you joy, would just make you even sad cause you'd feel that your desperate just to interact even a little bit with that crush. So no, that isn't the look of homophobia or hatred, that's the look of someone who's heartbroken
