Even calling byul “unplanned baby” is sugar-coating it. Bro’s a product of nonconsensual sex with his grapist.
Dad and son need to experience Hyesung’s og crashout. Hyesung needs to leave them again (like maybe for a month or two to cool off), and maybe Byul would actually understand what it feels to be “abandoned” as he so confidently saying he “knows”.

Hyesung didn’t have anyone to rely on before meeting Dojin and having Byul. But in the end, they both decided to betray him despite knowing his story. Byul might only know a few details, but Dojin knew everything—he was even there when Hyesung’s mother met him. Hyesung trusted them because they are the family he thought he could finally rely on, yet they still chose to betray him. He needs to make them realize that he’s not someone who’s easy to deal with, especially considering the story behind why he never met his own mother again.
Byul was an unplanned baby, but Hyesung gave him all his love and did everything to make up for it. To Hyesung, Byul is still his baby, no matter how much he’s grown.
