Idk but if i know what my mom/dad been going through because of their parents, I WON'T CONTACT MY SO-CALLED GRANDMA/GRANPA like u act all sweet to me cause of what? I'm your grandchild? But where's the same attention and love for my mom/dad when they need it? It's like they only "using" me as a "atonement" for what they've done with my parents. I'll respect my parents decisions to cut ties with them.
I know Hyesung didn't want Byul at first but at least he was THERE when Byul need a parenting figure in his life. He's always been there for him. Hyesung mess up but he barely like 20 at that time when he was pregnant, nor have any settle income let alone finishing his highschool...
