came back here after learning about personality disorders in our abnormal psychology subject. i could say that this manhwa portrayed it well.
antisocial personality disorder is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and the violation of the right of others, and this manhwa mentioned that u have to be 15 to be diagnosed, however, according to the DSM 5 manual, the symptoms are evident on the age 15 but u must be 18 to be diagnosed.
so to simply put it, antiosocial personality disorder is well being a law-breaker or a criminal, that's what our professor said. people with this disorder lack remorse for other people, and in this manhwa they did show it. the ml only cares about himself not caring about what his actions might do to the mc.
I'm not saying that whatever he did was valid, it's just that i kinda understand them. personality disorders CANNOT BE CURED, the medications are only there to control them. they don't think something is wrong with them that's why they don't seek medical help.
ps. my professor was right when he said that grapists are most likely to be diagnosed with antiosocial personality disorder (the class asked him a question about whether ppl diagnosed with sexual sadism disorder could be rapists, he said no, since those ppl tend to do it with consenting people)
