Byul and hyesungs situations are like worlds apart. Hyesung suffered a lot even when he left byul and being abused and abandoned by both his parents. Hyesung is a good mom he didn't leave byul for years and years, he quickly realised his shortcomings to provide a loving home for byul. On the other hand byul received lots of love even when hyesung was suffering and crashing out, byul has his father and grandparents and he was too little to even remember
what I'm trying to say here is hyesung cannot try to separate his son to her mother especially when he's already at that age. He cannot force them to do the same thing just because of their past. And, honestly I don't know what your trying to portray here while hyesung was the one to chose to keep the baby because of the money and he's also scared to abort the baby.

Reading the comments here are all one-sided povs, they doesn't even know her back story. The author didn't give enough details about hyesung's past and dojin was so understanding about his wife. Byul don't need to cut off his grandmother just because his mother have trauma's in the past. Byul also have bad memories with his mother but didn't resent him. He may be a child but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the rights to feel that way. Hyesung need to understand his son and his husband that have been more reliable and understanding on the past and even now.
He needs to move on and move forward. Maybe having a chat with his mother (byul's grandma) will broaden up his thoughts and answer all of his question in the past.
