What both did was wrong, but Dojin is the main asshole because he knew the full story.
Byul didn't know the whole story, he only knew the grandma's side. His grandma basically painted herself as a saint with no other choice. He should have known that something wasn't adding up if Hyesung cut complete contact with his grandma. Byul should have thought more and should have figure out that this wasn't the full story bc if it was...then Hyesung wouldn't be so set on never speaking to his mom again. You don't get shunned out by your kids if what you did was nothing major.
Dojin sucks bc him keeping in contact with the grandma made byul think that what she did to hyesung wasnt a big deal. Byul's biggest mistake was being painfully naive and ignorant, giving the benefit of the doubt to bad people.
I think it’s cuz everyone already knows Dojin is straight garbage so there’s no reason to even mention how trash he is (at least that’s how it is for me )
