i mean it is fiction however my grandfather has a really bad concussion from falling and he never fully recovered from it. when it first happened he actually had to go an asylum because he wanted to kill my grandmother. he was super paranoid, aggressive and nothing like his formal self. that was almost ten years ago and he still doesn’t know who i am most of the time. most days he doesn’t look in the mirror because he doesn’t recognize himself and gets confused. so there really is a chance her brain damage could have caused her to behave in weird ways.

Ok but the trauma backstory was kinda ridiculous. So she falls and then forgets not only a very significant part of her life, but her entire personality too? And she has delusions that some other boy is her son? Does brain damage even work that way? And the driver that hit her like come on do you not scan for possible hazards (like a woman trying to walk out in the middle of the street)? Altho it's Korea and ppl be driving like nascar so I guess that's realistic. That's probably the only realistic part of the back story lol.
It just doesn't make sense for a father to blame his son for his wife's accident so much so that he actively tries to ruin his life well into adulthood? Like if u really loced ur wife, why would u try and screw over her only son, the only thing that remains of her? Also that's some 5 year old energy. Did trauma cause the father to regress to the mental state of a kindergartener?
