i think too much was going on for them in their lives for their relationship to develop into something more. like this kids were going to war so obviously the most that could be shown between them is their admiration for eachother and individual character development (very little relationship development cause they were never rlly in one to begin with). but i still think chapter 431 was indeed rushed, probs due to the gay allegations for bkdk
