Yeah, true, but let’s be real. The actor arc did serve that purpose, but honestly, it didn’t really do it justice, it felt pretty weak. Gabriel comes off more like comic relief than a real rival. Still, him hitting on JJK would definitely shake things up. The real focus, though, should be making Jaegueng actually lose it with real jealousy, that would give us the chills we need for the intense chase arc the author promised. If Gabriel ends up being just that, a watered-down copy of Hensung, then the story really missed a big opportunity there.
Honestly, I thought Gabriel’s flirting would go further. I was expecting him to be a real rival for Kim Dan’s affection. The story really needs some tension there, author pls!! Jaegueng should feel genuinely threatened at least once! Watching Kim Dan William kiss someone else would definitely shake things up. Muahaha!
